My final piece for Illustration I, it's rather large (a bit larger than 18x24) so I had to take a photo of it, I scanned the blue character for a detail shot to upload right after this however!

The chakats, friends, and family having a great big party before they leave the planet Earth bound for Chakona... 48 characters - the original is 18"x40", and took approximately 120 hours of work. Done in acrylics, markers and colored pencils on illustration board.

Mordecai, Serafine and Nico. I hadn't done any proper color work with this group yet, so I decided to do a little poster-style illustration involving the three of them. That's not Serafine's usual getup - I suppose she can't pass up the opportunity to get dolled up for a special occasion, though. She's dressed as her personal version of a Voodoo mambo. The image was sketched in pencil and painted with a tablet and Photoshop.
